What the three days hold

Each day gives you one verse, a reflection on what it actually asks of you, room to write, and a written prayer you can pray aloud.

Day one — Perseverance

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Day two — Who you already are

“We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.” — 2 Corinthians 5:20

Day three — Justice

“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.” — Isaiah 1:17

How to get the most out of it

The first page of the guide walks you through this properly, but the short version is:

  1. Pick a quiet spot and a time you can repeat — morning, lunch break, or last thing at night.
  2. Open with the written prayer at the top of the page before you read anything else.
  3. Read the verse slowly, then read around it in your own Bible. Unhurried beats thorough.
  4. Write in the spaces. Half-formed thoughts are still worth writing down — that is what the record is for.
  5. Finish on the prayer, and on one small step you could actually take tomorrow.

Three days is short on purpose. It is meant to be finishable in a hard week, not another thing you feel behind on. If you miss a day, pick it up where you left it.

It is yours to keep and yours to pass on. If it helps you, send it to someone who needs it.

When you've finished the three days and want to carry on, our guided journals and devotionals pick up where this leaves off.
