Mission Ten of the Light Knights! A hurt traveller lies by the wayside, and your child becomes the healer who stops to help — learning to notice who needs care, pack a sensible care kit, observe and sort leaves like a nature-studier, understand what a cold and weary body needs, plan the safe way to the inn, and above all to love their neighbour as the Good Samaritan did. Teaches careful observation, nature study, safe first-aid SENSE (including when to fetch an adult) and compassion. Includes a Guild Master's Handbook with hint ladders so no child gives up.

How It Works

Read the Mission Brief aloud, then guide your Knight through the six tasks in order as they learn to notice, tend and carry a traveller in need. When they get stuck, climb the hint ladders in the Guild Master's Handbook. Reach the inn and, like the Samaritan, 'go and do likewise'!

Perfect For

Homeschool character, nature-study and PSHE days, church and holiday clubs, Sunday school, nature and kindness groups, and caring-themed parties. Ages 7 to adult. Pairs with the other Light Knights missions.
