What Biblical Character Are You? (And Why It Changes Everything About How You See Yourself)
What if the reason you've always felt different — too bold, too quiet, too intense, too much — is because you were made for something specific? What if the very traits that have confused or frustrated you are actually the fingerprints of a calling?
That's the question at the heart of the SIIB range. And it starts with one question: which biblical character are you?
Why Biblical Identity Matters More Than You Think
Most personality frameworks tell you who you are. The SIIB archetypes tell you who you were made to be. There's a difference. Personality describes your tendencies. Identity describes your calling. And when you understand your calling — when you can name it, wear it, speak it — something shifts.
Research in identity psychology consistently shows that people who have a clear, stable sense of who they are show greater resilience, better decision-making, and higher levels of purpose and meaning. Dr. Dan McAdams at Northwestern University has spent decades studying what he calls "narrative identity" — the story we tell about ourselves. His research shows that people who have a coherent, meaningful narrative about their identity are significantly more likely to act in alignment with their values, even under pressure.
In the Christian tradition, this is not a new idea. God renamed Abram to Abraham. Jacob to Israel. Simon to Peter. The name change wasn't cosmetic. It was a declaration of identity — a calling spoken over a life before it was fully lived.
That's what SIIB is. Speak It Into Being. Your identity, declared.
The 10 SIIB Biblical Archetypes
Each archetype is rooted in a specific biblical figure — not as a historical curiosity, but as a living template for a type of calling that still exists today. Read through them. One will resonate more than the others. That's not coincidence.

How to Know Which One You Are
Read through the ten archetypes again. Ask yourself: which one made something stir in you? Which one felt less like a description and more like a recognition? Which one made you think "that's me" — or perhaps more tellingly, "I wish that were me"?
Both responses are valid. Sometimes we recognise our current identity. Sometimes we recognise our called identity — the person we're becoming, not just the person we are.
Once you know your archetype, the next step is to speak it. Declare it. Wear it. Let it shape how you see yourself every single day.

There's a reason the SIIB range is apparel, not just a book or a quiz. Wearing your archetype is a daily act of declaration. Every time you put on your Fire Starter hoodie, your Lion Tamer tee, your Game Changer sweatshirt — you are choosing to see yourself through the lens of your calling, not your circumstances.
Research in behavioural psychology calls this "enclothed cognition" — the phenomenon where the clothes we wear influence our psychological state and performance. A 2012 study at Northwestern University found that wearing clothing associated with a specific identity or role measurably improved performance in tasks associated with that identity. What you wear shapes how you think. How you think shapes how you act.
Speak It Into Being. Wear It Into Being. Live It Into Being.
